SIFA, located in the north of France, has acquired a second ETI Cohesio, a a machine featuring patented technology of in-line silicone and adhesive coating. The Cohesio allows for the manufacturing of pressure sensitive labels in a single in-line process: printing, applying silicone and adhesive, laminating and diecutting, resulting in a final deliverable product.

In order to combine efficiency with environmental concerns, the new machine is equipped with the Pellicut, a high speed rotary diecutting unit that allows the machine to diecut on very thin liner polyester film (.72 mil) or SCK or glassine paper (20 lb), thus considerably reducing waste.

Pascal Segard, president of SIFA, comments: “Since the e-commerce enthusiasm, the ETI technology allows us to meet our customers increasing demand for self-adhesive shipping labels. Furthermore, creating our own labels, from raw material to finished product, enables us to offer our customers unbeatable prices.”
